So much to say...so little time! Travis has so much to be remembered by, so I choose to remember his life as it was lived not how it ended by his last act. He was handsome, caring, kind, a comedian in his own right, smart, talented, he had morals, and many other beautiful qualities about him! He was a loving and Devoted father to his daughter, Megan. He was a Son to a mother whom will never be whole again due to his passing. Travis was a brother to me, and fond are my memories of our childhood together, knowing him and loving him made me a better person. I was often his shadow growing up, he taught me so much in his life and in his death... Travis made friends and gained trust of others easily. Loved by all who knew him, and respected by those who didn't. His time on earth was really short and he was gone to soon, but his impact was a gift to us all.

How will heaven be?
As far as I can see
It will have huge bells
And will be situated on clouds
It will have many golden wells

Music that will touch the heart
While those beneath will shed drops of sorrow
Little will they know what will happen on the morrow

Fresh with the fragrant smell of spring
Winter will never be bitter
Summer never so hot
Autumn never so bare
And resources never so scarce
Food for all will be relished by all.

Surrounding that hidden land,
Beautiful and vast seas I see
There colour as blue as sapphire can be
And the white waves lashing upon the shore
Sitting on the flattened grey rocks
Who would not call it absolutely heavenly?
However it might actually be,

A relieving feeling of bliss
For where not have we been
But is this not by all believed
That after one’s decease
This is the land of eternal peace

I thought of you and closed my eyes; and prayed to God today
I asked what makes a Mother and I know I heard him say...
A Mother has a baby, this we know is true.
But God, can you be a Mother, when your baby's not with you?
Yes, you can, he replied with confidence in His voice,
I give many women babies, when they leave is not their choice.
Some I send for a lifetime; and others for a few years
And some I send to feel your womb, but there's no need to stay.
I just don't understand this, God, I want my baby here
He took a breath and cleared His throat, and then, I saw a tear.
I wish I could show you what your child is doing today
If you could see your child smile with other children and say;
"We go to earth to learn our lessons of love and life and fear,
My mommy loved me oh so much, I got to come straight here.
I feel so lucky to have a Mom, who had so much love for me
I learned my lesson very quickly, my Mommy set me free.
I miss my Mommy oh so much but I visit her each day
When she goes to sleep, on her pillow is where I lay.
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek; and whisper in her ear
Mommy don't be sad today, I'm your baby and I'm here."
So, you see, my dear sweet one, your children are okay
Your babies are here in my home; and this is where they'll stay.
They'll wait for you with me, until your lesson is through
And on the day that you come home, they'll be at the gates for you.
So, now you see what makes a Mother, it's the feeling from your heart
It's the love you had so much of, right from the very start.
Though some on earth may not realize you are a mother.
They'll be up here with me one day and you know you're the best one.

Who's to blame for suicide?
The question often heard.
Someone always points a finger
And they say such hurtful words.
They never do consider that
It's caused from a disease.
Depression and Bipolar
Are just a few of these.
Some die from being murdered.
Some die from accidents.
Some die from pneumonia,
But none of it makes sense.
Sometimes body parts wear out
Way before their time.
Some lose the cancer battle,
But it all seems so unkind.
No matter how they leave us
It never is their choice.
There's something deep within them
That has a bigger voice.
So please refuse to take the blame
For the THING that took your Brother.
Although others point their fingers.
They haven't walked your mile.
